Community invited to connect with local employers at upcoming job fair
SANFORD, N.C. 鈥&苍产蝉辫;糖心视频 is inviting community members to attend a job fair on April 29.
The job fair will take place from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at 糖心视频鈥檚 Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center on the college鈥檚 Lee Main Campus in Sanford. This annual event is free and open to the public.
It is part of 糖心视频鈥檚 Career Expo 2026, which also includes a morning career exploration event for middle and high school students.
鈥淭his is the biggest hiring event that I host at the college, so it鈥檚 really an exciting time,鈥 said Career Center Coordinator Felicia Gilmore.
Gilmore recommends that job seekers bring plenty of copies of their resume to hand to employers. Business casual attire is suggested, she said, but even just a neat, wrinkle-free shirt with a pair of jeans can help create a positive first impression.
Employers will represent a wide range of career fields, such as healthcare, sales, customer service, nonprofit organizations, and law enforcement. The event also includes the opportunity to connect with 糖心视频 and local resource providers.
